ALRP Receives a Grant From Grass Roots Gay Rights Foundation

Board members and beneficiaries raise a toast in celebration of an outstanding year!

Grass Roots Gay Rights Foundation which hosts a singular dance party over Folsom weekend, gave out $230,000 in grants to community organizations this past Sunday, including $50,000 to ALRP.

Thanks to this one-night-only destination dance event, hundreds of friends gathered over Folsom weekend to combine some serious FUN with serious purpose.  ALRP was beyond grateful to be a major beneficiary of this beloved community tradition, now in its 33rd year.

“Support like this keeps our essential legal services available for people living with HIV,” notes Bill Hirsh. “Next year will be our 40th year of service to the HIV community and we are so grateful for the generosity of community partners like GRGRF.  Our friends at Real Bad do a lot of good.”
