Free Legal Trainings

ALRP offers free MCLE trainings to attorneys. Trainings are held at the SF Bar Association from 5:30pm-7:00pm and award 1.5 hours of CLE credit.

Champion for Clients' Privacy Rights

Years ago, when his close friend Paul died of AIDS, Jim Wood decided to do what he could to make a difference in the AIDS epidemic. Since then, Jim has dedicated a good deal of his personal and professional time to serving people living with HIV/AIDS. He served as a pro bono Panel attorney for ALRP clients for many years before joining the ALRP Board in 2010 and becoming Co-Chair in 2012. Read more...

Major Donor Party - 2013

ALRP celebrated our ALRP|30 Campaign leadership gift donors at the ALRP Major Donor Party on May 9, 2013. The party was attended by over 75 guests and held at the waterfront Plant Cafe. Thanks to our generous donors, ALRP has raised almost $100,000, surpassing our $90,000 goal.
