Volunteer at a Community Event!

EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Our Event Volunteers are a crucial part of ALRP. Events are tied to fundraising and as an event volunteer, you will help ALRP raise urgently needed funds that enable us to continue providing our free and low-cost legal services to the HIV/AIDS community. Many event opportunities occur in San Francisco on the weekends and are an enjoyable and rewarding way to get involved.

Events include local community street fairs, cause-oriented themed parties, and receptions/auctions. Each event is different so the volunteer tasks will differ between events. For example, street fair volunteer tasks include collecting donations, welcoming fair-goers, providing security, set up/breakdown, etc. while reception/auction volunteer tasks often include registering guests, selling raffle tickets, and assisting with live and silent auctions. Event volunteers will be notified of upcoming events by email.

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS
As a nonprofit, ALRP is always in search of administrative support around the office with a variety of tasks. Office volunteer tasks include assistance with bulk mailings, filing, follow up calls, and many more depending on our needs at the time.
