Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel! We have several volunteer opportunities available and would very much appreciate your help.

Event Volunteer

Our Event Volunteers are crucial because many events help ALRP raise urgently needed funds that will enable us to continue providing free and low-cost legal services to the HIV/AIDS community. Many event opportunities occur in San Francisco on the weekends or weekday evenings and are a very enjoyable and rewarding way to get involved.

Examples of volunteer opportunities include selling admission tickets, registering attendees, setting up event furniture and decorations, and selling beverages. Assignments vary per event. Event supporters will be notified of upcoming events by email.

Office/Administrative Volunteer

Our Office/Admin volunteers provide clerical assistance to ALRP staff. Examples of volunteer work include client follow-up calls, data management, website maintenance, development work, mailings, etc. Experience with WordPress, Microsoft Access, and photography skills are highly desirable. This volunteer opportunity occurs at ALRP’s office at 1663 Mission Street, San Francisco, during regular business hours. We request that Office volunteers make a 2-3 month commitment of 4-6 hours per week that can be flexibly scheduled.
