ALRP has been selected as a major beneficiary of the 2012 REAF Help Is On The Way XVIII Gala – a song, dance and comedy extravaganza starring greats from Hollywood, Broadway and beyond. Scheduled to perform are:

Pre-show VIP reception starts at 5:30. Performance begins at 7:30pm. And Post-show reception with the cast begins at 10:00pm.

You can join in the fun by volunteering at the Gala, buying and/or selling show and raffle tickets, or donating an item for the Gala auction. 100% of ticket sales go directly to support ALRP legal services for people with AIDS and three other AIDS service agencies.

SATURDAY

Auction Load In (Saturday, Day Before Performance)
Transport auction items from the curb into the Herbst Theatre.
10:00am – 1:00pm

SUNDAY

Auction Set Up
Set up auction items and tables. Invite guests to bid and assist them in filling out bid sheets.
9:00am – 1:00pm
1:00pm – 5:30pm

Reception Set Up
Set up the VIP and Gala Receptions. Set up tables, decorations, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.
1:00pm – 5:00pm

Reception Staffing & Load Out
Assist in restocking and resetting the room for the dessert reception. Assist bartenders and food vendors during the reception. Pour wine, serve desserts, and pick up empty glasses and plates. Break down tables and clean up after the reception.
8:00pm – 12:30am

MONDAY

Final Load Out (Monday, Day After Performance)
Transport unsold auction items out of the Herbst Theatre and onto the curb.
10:00am – 2:00pm

ALL WEEKEND

Drive Performers
Drive performers from the airport to hotels/theatre and vice versa. You must have a nice car, not be star struck, and respect the performers’ privacy. Please submit your name to Jennifer for consideration.
