The ALRP 2020 Major Donor Reception & Bill Hirsh 20th Anniversary Celebration has been CANCELLED due to the corona virus.
This event was originally scheduled for June 3rd as part of the ALRP Heart of the Matter Campaign in support of ALRP’s free legal services for people with HIV/AIDS.
Despite COVID-19, ALRP has remained open and continues to keep people with HIV housed, employed, insured, safe and healthy. And the number of clients coming to us for help continues to grow.
In 2019, ALRP handled a record 2,653 legal matters for our clients – the second record year in a row and a 77% increase over the past 15 years! These legal matters include a record 946 housing matters and a record 308 immigration matters.
ALRP has now handled more than 80,000 legal matters for our clients.
The ALRP Heart of the Matter Campaign runs from May 1st through June 30th and hopes to raise $120,000 from individuals – like YOU. Your Campaign gift will ensure that ALRP continues to be there for all who come to us seeking legal support.
