ALRP Angels Legacy Society

LEAVING A LEGACY is an appealing concept. To leave a charitable gift to ALRP after your departure, further contributing to the ongoing efforts of ALRP, is a grand gesture – one that deserves special acknowledgment.

To that end, ALRP has created the ALRP Angels Legacy Society for those donors who have designated us in their wills, or who are thinking about including ALRP in their estate plans. We welcome the opportunity to have you be a part of this special donor society.

Many of ALRP’s supporters make charitable gifts by naming ALRP as a beneficiary in their Wills. The federal government encourages these gifts or bequests, by allowing an unlimited estate tax charitable deduction. Others  designate ALRP as a beneficiary of their IRAs, or similar planned giving vehicles that can generate excellent tax advantages for them. Still others give gifts of Life Insurance, allowing them to leave their legacy by providing a substantial gift at death for a modest annual cost while living.

Whatever method you choose to support ALRP legal services and programs for people living with HIV/AIDS, we want to honor your dedication and support. Membership in the ALRP Angels Legacy Society includes special recognition at ALRP major donor events, on our website, and in our newsletters.  As the ALRP Angels Legacy Society grows, ALRP plans to hold special recognition events for members.

If you have already made a plan to give to ALRP in your will or estate plan, please contact ALRP’s development director, Jim McBride. We realize that with your special gift, you consider us to be part of your family, and we want to do our best to give you the opportunity to tell us of your wishes and to keep you informed as to how your gift will be used.
