• Overview: Part of ALRP’s new Immigration Training Series. Because all of our clients are living with HIV/AIDS and many are LGBT, we are frequently approached by people who have suffered abuse and intolerance in their countries of origin who are seeking protection in the United States. This training will offer a primer on removal defense with a focus on waivers and prosecutorial discretion. The presentation will include sample forms and submissions.
