This training will cover Federal and California laws on protections for disabled workers, including reasonable accommodations and the obligations of employers and employees to engage in the interactive process.

This training will cover:

  • The federal and state definitions of a disability and when an employee must disclose a disability
  • Types of disability discrimination and which employers must comply with anti-discrimination laws
  • Reasonable accommodations, particularly those driven by the COVID-19 pandemic
  • The interactive process to determine what accommodations are reasonable and which employers are not required to grant
