Annual Reception Post-Event Survey

Dear ALRP Staff and Board:

Thank you for helping make yesterday's Annual Reception such a success!

While the event is still fresh in your mind, we really need your feedback on what went well and what can be improved in the future. Please take just a few minutes to complete this brief post-event survey. Your responses will help us make next year’s event even better!

How would you rate the event overall?

2) VENUE

Did The Grand continue to be well suited as a venue for ALRP’s event? Was the layout of the space effective (registration, coat check, bars, silent auction, etc.)? Was the location easily accessible for guests? Should we host it here again in future years?

3) CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Were the event check-in and check-out processes straightforward and welcoming?

Was the food good? Was the quantity and variety of catered hors d’oeuvres sufficient? Was the location of food stations effective? Was the service provided by the catering staff of high quality?

Did the open bar and martini bar (new this year!) contribute positively to the event? Was the service provided by the bar staff courteous and efficient?

Did the selection of emcee, speakers, and honorees reflect positively on ALRP as an organization? Were the presenters’ remarks relevant and engaging?

Crowd Noise: In past years, keeping the venue quiet during the program has been challenging. This year, we tried to address that by having staff act as “shushers” and asking the emcee to get the crowd quiet as needed. How well did this work?

Program order: In past years, the fundraising portion of the program happened after speeches and award presentations. This year, it was moved to the middle of the program (after the thanks-yous and segment about ALRP’s accomplishments, and before the award presentations). Did you think this worked well?
