San Francisco County expands COVID vaccine eligibility to include people with HIV


Starting on March 15, 2021, individuals ages 16-64 with qualifying conditions are eligible for the COVID vaccine throughout California. The County of San Francisco has identified HIV as a qualifying condition, meaning anyone aged 16 or older with HIV will be eligible for a COVID vaccine. Additionally, the county is expanding eligibility to include individuals experiencing homelessness and who live in residential care facilities.
