Remembering A Loved Supporter

Alvin (“Al”) Baum, a gay man whose dedication and conviction changed the world for the better, has passed away. His unwavering support of the Jewish faith and the Bay Area’s LGBTQ community will be remembered for generations. Al, as he was known by many, founded the Gay and Lesbian Task Force of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco in 1996. He donated and chaired on the board of many notable charities and organizations. Al was a longtime loyal supporter of ALRP. He will be truly missed.
