During the first two weeks of January, we conducted a campaign to help undocumented HIV+ and/or LGBT people file applications for asylum before the new federal administration took over. Nearly two dozen individuals participated, and over half of those who received a consultation were able to get their applications in before the deadline. (The balance were advised not to apply at this time.)
