A recent article in the Bay Area Reporter entitled Seniors with HIV Face Losing Disability Insurance highlights a critical, emerging challenge many ALRP clients are or will soon be facing – losing the income from their disability insurance. In response, ALRP recently launched the ALRP HIV50+ Project, an effort to educate aging clients with HIV/AIDS on this issue to help them prepare for their future.
ALRP Executive Director, Bill Hirsh, is quoted in the article.
