Bill Hirsh ABA Appointment Extended

ALRP Executive Director, Bill Hirsh, has received an invitation to extend his presidential appointment to the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Lawyer Referral and Information Service. The original appointment was made by ABA President-Elect, Judy Perry Martinez, in 2019 for a one-year unexpired term. This new appointment, made by ABA President-Elect, Patricia Lee Refo, is for a three-year term commencing with the adjournment of the August 2020 Annual Meeting.

The ABA Standing Committee on Lawyer Referral and Information Service provides support and assistance to local public service lawyer referral programs that provide information on appropriate, quality legal services to the public. The committee also offer a number of resources for local bar leaders and lawyer referral programs.
