An Update from ALRP about COVID-19

Dear ALRP Friends,

As concerns mount about the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff are top of mind. We want to share some information with you about the steps we are taking to ensure that we continue to operate safely and effectively.

We are taking extra precautions in coordination with the janitorial staff in our building to keep our office germ-free. Our staff has been advised to wash their hands often and is regularly disinfecting frequently touched surfaces. Hand sanitizer and tissues are available throughout our office.
In addition to the added precautions that our staff is taking, we ask that our clients and other office visitors assist us in preventing the spread of COVID-19. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and contact us to reschedule your appointment or arrange to meet with our staff by phone or email. We advise you to refer to the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to keep yourself and those around you healthy. We know that persons over 60 and living with suppressed immune systems are most at risk.
We are closely monitoring the situation and acting in accordance with the latest guidelines from the Mayor’s Office. At this time, there are no disruptions to our day-to-day operations. ALRP remains committed to ensuring that our clients are able to access legal assistance. As the situation develops, we will keep you informed of any changes.
From the heart,
Bill Hirsh
Executive Director
