ALRP is proud to report that its partnership with the Eviction Defense Collaborative (EDC) is netting great results for our housing clients. Just this week, ALRP attorneys were successful in protecting the housing of three low-income clients who were facing eviction. The clients included a monolingual Spanish-speaking couple, a long-term tenant, and a tenant with a number of serious physical and mental health disabilities. For clients living with HIV/AIDS, stable housing is critical to their health. ALRP is committed to ensuring that tenants with an HIV or AIDS diagnosis are fairly represented in all aspects of housing law and is excited to continue its work with EDC to prevent homelessness.
