ALRP AIDS Walk Team Smashes Records!

Thanks to you, on Sunday, July 15, ALRP broke every previous Legal Eagles team AIDS Walk record we had, including raising an amazing $22,819 to support ALRP’s legal services for people with HIV/AIDS.  By the end of the AIDS Walk, team ALRP was ranked #11 in fundraising among all registered AIDS Walk teams.

Forty-three people joined our Legal Eagles team this year, ten more than in 2011 – another ALRP record.  These dedicated walkers braved the morning fog, which later made way for beautiful clear and sunny skies during the 10K walk.

ALRP also had a record 10 StarWalker team members – individuals who raised $1,000 or more themselves. One ALRP StarWalker, ALRP Board member Robert Millar (along with his partner Mario Guariso), raised an astounding $4,700, ranking him #22 on the list of Top Individual Fundraisers.

In combination with a $10,000 AIDS Walk grant from the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, ALRP raised more than $30,000 to support legal services to people with HIV/AIDS through the AIDS Walk.
