With the launching and termination of the Migrant Protection Protocol program, and the emergence of new expedited processing pathways under the Biden administration, the use of parole at the U.S. border is evolving. How parole impacts individuals in removal proceedings has created confusion amongst immigration practitioners and immigration judges alike. This training will focus on the basics of parole for lawyers representing immigrants in removal proceedings.
