#GivingTuesday is a global movement to bring people together and give back.
It’s a day to donate, volunteer, or simply be a spokesperson for a cause near and dear to your heart.
So this #GivingTuesday, on December 3rd, stand up for people living with HIV by showing your support for the ALRP Heart & Soul Campaign.
ALRP continues to keep people with HIV housed, employed, insured, safe and healthy. Yet the number of clients coming to us continues to grow – by over 66% in the last 15 years.
Last year, ALRP handled a record 2,483 cases for our clients, including a record 933 housing cases and 240 immigration cases.
At ALRP, we give everything we’ve got – heart and soul – to help our clients meet these challenges.
Your act of generosity on #GivingTuesday will ensure that we can continue to meet this growing need for our free legal services. On December 3rd help us continue to be their for those who need us:
ALRP’s mission is to help people living with HIV/AIDS maintain or improve their health by resolving their legal issues. For 36 years, our Panel of over 700 volunteer attorneys has helped people with HIV keep their housing, maintain their financial stability, get and keep their access to health care, fight discrimination in the workplace, and address immigration issues that keep them from becoming fully integrated into society.
