Positive Resource Center addresses ACA issues

The Positive Resource Center is excited to announce the launch of the Equal Access to Healthcare Program (EAHP) – Phase I in order to better respond to the community needs.

PRC will be collecting the issues you raise, analyzing them and reporting to the appropriate entities and institutions in an effort to effect system changes, help to provide more accurate information, lower barriers to healthcare, and affect health policy.

In the coming weeks, PRC will formally launch EAHP – Phase II, which will consist of PRC staff providing consultations and counseling to DPH clients living with HIV/AIDS on issues related to healthcare access and helping them compare Covered CA plans. PRC staff will also provide an expertise line to answer questions from DPH Eligibility Workers who provide enrollment advice to these clients.
