Former ALRP Policy Director Passes

UPDATE: A memorial for Eileen will be held on Wednesday June 8 from 5-9pm at First Unitarian Universalist Church. 1187 Franklin St (at Gough).

Eileen Hansen, former ALRP policy director, former San Francisco ethics commissioner, and longtime progressive activist, died April 29 from after a long battle with cancer.  She was 64. Eileen’s activism ranged from HIV/AIDS and homelessness to politics and social justice. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, including many past and current ALRP volunteers, staff and donors.
