ALRP Receives Donation from Castro Lions

The Castro Lions Club, long time supporters of ALRP programs, presented ALRP with another donation for 2012. Castro Lions are volunteer members of a club that is chartered under Lions Clubs International, where they enjoy fellowship and dedicate part of their free time to helping those in need all over the world, while making each individual community a better place to live.

The Castro Lions presented ALRP with a $500 check at their August dinner meeting. In attendance was Lions Clubs International Governor Bob Wilson, who presented the check along with Castro Lion President Troy Brunet and Lion Membership Director Dennis Hale. Other Lions were also in attendance, including Lion Vice President Bob Barnwell who helps to coordinate grants to community.

This 2012 grant will help underwrite the printing of ALRP’s newsletter, Panel Notes.
