• Overview: This training will discuss the basics of Long Term Disability (LTD) benefits, the most common policy terms, how not to interact with the adjusters administering these claims, and how to avoid the common pitfalls of claimants and/or advocates that can lead to a claim being denied or terminated. We will also discuss which LTD policies are governed by ERISA and which are not, as well as recent changes in the applicable law.
