• Overview: This MCLE will present a survey of state and federal law as it applies to gender identity and will focus on legal developments in employment protections, access to consistent identity documents and access to transition-related health care. The MCLE will conclude with tips for working with transgender clients and recommendations for how to create an inclusive workplace free from gender identity bias. The MCLE will also define and discuss some commonly used terminology.
