The AIDS Legal Referral Panel is proud to once again be a beneficiary of this year’s Folsom Street Events!
Folsom Street Events donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to San Francisco-based non-profit organizations every year. By generously donating your time you can help ensure that thousands of Bay Area residents living with HIV/AIDS have access to ALRP’s free legal services.
Folsom Street Fair takes place on Folsom Street from 8th to 13th St from 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, September 21. Visit the official Folsom Street Fair website here.
Do you want to join an impressive group of volunteers while helping ALRP uphold our reputation as a star beneficiary? Folsom Street Fair needs LOTS of volunteers so don’t hesitate to get involved in this much-anticipated summer street fair.
Perks for volunteers? FREE food and beverages, private restrooms, comfy seating in our shaded headquarters, and a cool behind the scenes look at the world’s largest leather fair! Lots of great sights to see!
New Volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation on Thursday, September 11 (7-8pm) or Saturday, September 13 (1-2pm). These both take place at the LGBT Center (1800 Market St).

Green Team:
Monitor recycle stations and encourage fair-goers to recycle and compost as much as possible. Gloves will be provided but discarded items rarely need to be handled.

Breakdown:
An extremely important job! Restore the fairgrounds to a clean and empty street. Break down headquarters, sweep, move tables, and load trucks. May require heavy lifting. Gloves will be provided.

The 31st Folsom Street Fair will offer 250+ exciting and sexy exhibitors and vendors, hot food and cold drinks, and tons of artistic and cultural entertainment. You are sure to see the fairgrounds filled with people in their most outrageous leather/rubber/fetish attire enjoying the world’s largest and best loved Leather fair. The event hosts two live stages with 16 live alternative acts, a huge dance area with internationally renowned DJs, a dedicated area for women and a newly inaugurated Artists’ Area.
The Folsom Street Fair is a true San Francisco original. With over 400,000 people in attendance covering 13 city blocks, the Fair is the largest leather/fetish event in the world and the third largest, single-day outdoor event in California.
FSF has two associated dance parties: Magnitude (9/20/14) and Deviants (9/21/14).

Magnitude is blowing up and moving out to Treasure Island! With shuttle buses running all night from the Castro and SOMA to the venue, you can gear up and head out to the hottest party of the weekend with loads of leather daddies. If you’re a local who’s driving, complimentary parking is included.
Party with the most incredible circuit DJs on the scene: Tom Stephan and Tony Moran. Over 2,500 of the world’s hottest leather and fetish men will sweat to the music and play hard in the back rooms.
Enjoy Magnitude’s large open-air space with an amazing nighttime view of the city, a gratis coat and clothes check, outdoor beer garden and food trucks, 3-D visuals and laser light shows, and dungeon space.

DEVIANTS, the Official Closing Party of Folsom Street Fair, has exploded in popularity over the few years. Celebrating its fifth year, the festivities will be held at the renowned venue Mezzanine at 444 Jessie Street – just a 10-minute walk from the fairgrounds. As always, Hard French and Honey Soundsystem co-host this affair with style and spirit.
