Come celebrate the ALRP You’re the One Campaign at ALRP’s 2015 Major Donor Party.ALRP is honoring Kerne Matsubara of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP with the ALRP 2015 James C. Hormel Philanthropist Award and the Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF) is being presented the ALRP 2015 Community Partner Award.
Take in the fabulous Bay Bridge views, savor delicious food and wine/beer, and network with friends and colleagues. The Plant Cafe-Embarcadero is located at Pier 3-The Embarcadero, just a few buildings north of the San Francisco Ferry/Port Building at the foot of Market Street in San Francisco.

The coming year promises to test ALRP’s resolve once more. An increasing number of clients are facing the loss of their housing due to record high rents and evictions (ALRP attorneys handled a record 738 housing cases in 2014). Still more clients are facing dramatic reductions in their incomes as a result of moving from the income guaranteed by a long-term disability insurance policy to social security–shifts in benefits that can affect their housing, health insurance, and health.
In response, ALRP has launched the ALRP You’re the One Campaign. The Campaign has a goal of raising $100,000 by May 31st and will help ensure the continuation of ALRP’s programs by stimulating a higher, sustainable level of donor giving.
