From APRIL 1 through MAY 31, ALRP is conducting our 2010 Solid Ground Campaign, an initiative aimed at raising funds from individual donors to support ALRP's free or low cost legal services to people living with HIV/AIDS throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The Solid Ground Campaign has a goal of raising $75,000.

Last year was challenging for many of us, but none more so than our clients, many of whom experienced reductions in income support, medical and dental services, mental health services, and in-home supportive services.  ALRP also experienced its own challenges in meeting the needs of our clients,  with corporate funding for ALRP’s legal services down by 18% and foundation support down an astonishing 74%.

Despite these obstacles ALRP was able to meet its 2009 revenue goals, with more than 80% of every dollar donated to ALRP going directly to client services (92% when Panel attorney donated legal services are included). However, difficult economic conditions persist. And the number of clients coming to us for help continues to rise – by 35% over the last five years alone. To remain on solid ground, ALRP launched the 2010 ALRP Solid Ground Campaign, an initiative aimed at securing gifts from individual donors like you.
